European Day

On the 9th of May we celebrated to European Day. We met in city centre and than we organized "flash mob". All girls made circular and showed some dance. In the same tıme the boys gave to fliers to people on the street and they talked about this special day. We performed this action in several areas. Our messages were "we don't need borders", "Building Europe Together" , "No War, Yes Peace", "We can live all tohether", " No hate speech"... We wanted to create awareness and we had really funny times. 

Seara romaneasca

On the 8th of may we could enjoy a Romanian night. A really nice group of romanian teenager prepared for us a wonderful night full of surprises. We had the chance to enjoy a few videos with information about Romania and we get to know more about history and romanian traditions. Thay also showed us some traditional costumes and clothes.

Later we could also delight typical romanian food and drinks: breads, cakes, sauces and sweets. We definitely fall in love with romanian food,  it was really perfect!!

And after that, we started to move our bodies and danced some romanian typical dances and songs, we are not so good, but we gave the best of us!!

Thank you so much for this wonderful evening. You made us have an amazing time :)

Forum theater

When we came back from our easter hollidays we did the Forum Theater training. It was a three day meeting, where all the volunteers from both projects, join in a really funny and interesting training. 

During this days we had the chance to know a new way of solving real social problems and situations. We found out that theater can be an interesting way to show those conflicts and to find some possible solutions. 

On the other hand we also shared some games to get to know each other better and to be able to create some strategies to have a better group communication. 

At the end of the day we found out that one of the most important things to work as a group is to trust and listen to each other. 

Intercultural night

After two weeks of being here, on april the 10th we had our Intercultural Night. It was a meeting where we could show to everybody a presentation about our countries. First of all, we showed some videos with information about Argentina, France, Spain, Turkey, Zambia and China, and after that we shared some typical food and drinks from each country.

Roma International Day

We are back from our vacations and we want to share with you a little bit of what we`ve been doing here since we arrived.

Our first month in this city recieved us with a really special celebration. We had the opportunity to be part of the "Roma International Day". On april the 8th every Roma Communities around the world celebrate the pride of being part of that population. It was a really nice day, where we could see and appreciate some traditional Roma dances, costumes and music.
